The Werner Siemens Foundation has donated 9.83 million Swiss francs to the ETH Foundation helping to finance the Centre of Cyber Trust research project. The research project is a collaboration between ETH Zurich with the professors David Basin, Peter Müller, and Adrian Perrig and the University of Bonn with professor Matthew Smith.
The project’s goal is to explore new ways to establish trust in the digital world. One key ingredient is to leverage trust that already exists in the real world.
